journey to the west: conquering the demons 2 is directed by tsui hark (徐克), 66, and written and produced by stephen chow. it focuses on monk xuanzang and his three disciples’ (徒弟) journey for the buddhist texts (佛經(jīng)). on the outside, everything seem to be going well but actually their hearts and minds are not in agreement. however, after a series of fights against demons, they begin to understand each other’s hardships and finally become a powerful and harmonious (和諧的) team.
